I was hoping some one out there could give me some idea how fast my loads are going.The rifle is a P14 with a 25inch barrel the load at present is 39.2 grns AR2206H (H4895)under a speer 87 grn spire point set off with a winchester large rifle primer.At present dont own a chrony but who knows what Santa may bring.

You might try Googling 25-.303 Epps and see if you can find load data on that. You have your cartridge designation bassackwards, but hey, you're from down under mate!

Sambar02 The 303 case necked down to 25 cal is very close in capacity to the 257 Roberts. Loads and velocities will be quite close. Your load with 39 grs of H4895 and a 87 gr bullet will give you approx 3100fps muzzle vel. Hope that helps.

Thanks guys much appreciated ,i actualy toyed with the idea of going to the Epps version when i first got it years ago as i had already done a 303epps in both a #4 and a p14 but just never got around to it.Although i am currently considering turning the #4 into a 35-303 epps.
