Anyone done any loading for this one?

Looks like 10-12 gr of 2400 and an 86gr hornady bullet, in a 20" barrel, will be around 2000fps

never loaded for that one, but it is a pretty hot round. i would think something other than 2400 but thats cause i don't like 2400 because of the amounts of unburned powder i always get

QL predicts 28K at 11gr, and over 2000fps .. barely 2/3 of CIP pressure .. 2400 will probably burn nicely in a longish barrel

if not, i'll look for something slightly faster ... but i don't want to push pressure, at all .. looking for NIL recoil, and a lifetime gun .. this thing is going to be a rabbit/park rifle

^ What rifle are you loading for? I've got the little CZ-858 semi-auto. The CZ-527 bolt gun is a nice weapon.

Jeffe, what does 296 look like. Slower and lower pressures I would guess.

Jeffe,
296/H110 is a little too slow. You just really can't really get enough in the case. AA#9 works great. My standard load is 10.9gr AA#9, Hornady 90 gr XTP, WSP and starline brass. Loading for this one is a pain. I'd suggest getting the lee factory crimp die for it to help some with neck tension.
I actually load this is 6 steps using a 9mm carbide sizing die first on my progressive to eliminate the use of lube on the cases.
