The reference was for a hunting rifle. I would be concerned about rust in the bore. Hunting around here can result in no shots being fired!

I talked to a tech with a lube co who is also a shooter. I am not so sure that he knows everything but he tried moly and dropped it. They have all of the best sources of moly and buy a lot of it to use in their lubricants.

This seems to be getting more confusing as we go on.
