what kind of pet do you plan to shoot? /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." Winston Churchill

I have a .375 that I am just starting to work up loads for and did a search on this site of .375 loads and found a lot of great loads that people are getting excellent accuracy in in a variety of rifles. Namely RL-15 powders and IMR-4064 seemed to be the top two results of my search. I'll be working up 300 grain Barnes X loads using these two powders in mine.

Maybe this should be in the small game forum.

I had the best results in the .375 H&H with highly compressed loads of H4350 and regular (non-magnum) WLR primers in Winchester brass. This gave me both top velocity and good accuracy. That is for both 270 and 300 grain bullets. "How's that whole 'hopey-changey' thing working out for ya?"

Me too. With 260 gr Nosler P. and up, any of the 4350 powders. If you use a drop tube of around 12/15 " , the compression of the powder is a lot less. With lighter bullets 235/250 gr, R15 worked best for me. Regards PH
