Anyone using the 62 gr SS109 type military bullets in the .223?? If so looking for a good starting load for my 16" 1:9 HB AR carbine. Currently I have AA2230, TAC, N140/133 and some other N's as well as my old stand-by Varget. Brass is LC with WSR primers. Doing several web searchs has not been real productive - in other words found exactly ONE load so I need soe SERIOUS help!! I'll give you most that I have with 62 gr. bullets: All were with WSR primers and various brass manufacturers. This data was gathered using two different rifles,a Stevens Mod. 200 and a Savage 12bvss-s. Oh! I just want you to know that I made PFC. Three times. roger Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward. Wisdom comes with age!
