Looking to get a savage 12FV in 308. If anyone has this rifle what bullet weights does it like? Or for anyone who may have a good guess here is some info.
26" barrel, 1 in 10 twist, Would this barrel like longer heavy bullets or lighter shorter bullets?

The 1-10 twist should stabilize heavier bullets well but in my experience with Savage rifles including the 12FV in 308 you can build a load around just about any bullet weight.

I ordered one in .308 for a friend and he's very happy with it. Very accurate rifle with 150 gr ballistic tips which are the only bullet he's tried.

Yes I have a Savage 12FV in a .308 and it is a very accurate gun. I had a gunsmith to work the trigger down to about 2 1/2lbs and that is all I had done to it. I shoot IMR 4895 (44.5gr) with a 150gr Sierra BTSP Gameking seated .015 off of the lands and this shoots great. If you purchase one a I do not think that you will be disappointed!
