The diameter of the bullet plus two-times the thickness of the brass...

Right. But I don't have any brass to measure to obtain diameter at the neck.

Jordan. I measured 10 cartridges loaded in virgin brass. Got 8.54mm +-0.005, or .336 +-.0002. AKI
