Good luck, few good deals are to be had on Dillon or LNL. I did just sell one of my 550B to a buddy for $320 w/ tool heads & other goodies, but tough to find them. IMO, unless you are shooting 200rds a week, you don't really need a progressive. You can load 60-75rds an hour on a single stage if you are organized. With the Lee Class Turret, 120-140rds. So even at 200rds a week, that is less than 3hrs reloading time spent. I used to shoot about 500rds a week, the prgressive was handy, but I still use the ss quite a bit. I wanted to get it for my 9mm, its a S&W 915. It gobbles up rds like kids with candy. My Ruger revolver in 38spec eats them up a bit more slowly. My M1 & 30carbine eat them just as fast but hardly get as used as much. Disabled Vet(non-combat) - US Army NRA LIFE MEMBER Hunter, trapper, machinest, gamer, angler, and all around do it your selfer. The LNL is a good machine, equal to the Dillon 650 in speed & quality. If I didn't have blue I would probably go this route. For a couple 100 rds a week, a Lee Classic Turret would fill the need quite easily for a lot less money & complication. The 550B is manual indexing but very simple to setup & use & keep running. The LNL is a great press. If you have a LNL Classic, they can be calibrated together, ala ultimatereloader.com. | |||
