As long as you enter the correct BC for the bullet in question the caliber and weight aren`t needed. The trajectory is a function of velocity and BC of the bullet and any caliber or weight bullet at a given speed and BC will have a similar drop. To find the energy of the load you will need bullet weight, but caliber isn`t important in finding either numbers.
