So I want to build a portable reloading box for my motorhome so that I have my reloading equipment when I am in Tucson for the winter..

I've seen benchrest guys that have them for use at the range. Something like a box that would open up with a place for a press, power measure and scale..

Anyone have some pictures or ideas?

I think trying to get everything into one box is a big ask. I have my press on a folding Workmate horse thing, onto which I also screw the powder measure. My case trimmer is connected to a piece of aluminum angle, which is crimped into the jaws of the work bench when needed.

Everything detachable is stored in plastic containers in liftable weights and I can't think of a better solution for your mobile home. If you try to heft equipment, bullets, dies and all in one box, you'll do your back in when you go to lift it.

I made stands for a few things. I have threaded inserts all over the benchtop.

If you have a press you don't really need a powder measure stand (if you use one). They fit in the press. I had the stand attached to the scale stand (not idea when dumping 3031 :-). I'm in the process of making a wooden stand with hornady LNL attachment for the measure.

Here's the scale/trickler stand and the trimmer/ primer pocket mandrel stand.

May I suggest the precision shooters (bench rest) sites and publications for vendors who might help.

In my collage days I used a mil surplus wooden box with holes drilled into the top to take my Lyman press.

I am guessing to was 16" x 18"x 10". held what I needed loaded many thousand of 38spl with that set up.

No need to get extra fancy unless one wants to.

It is not that difficult to do, once you know what you want, and have some handiwork skills.

1980 - Offutt AFB dorms. I made the table out of particle board and pine legs and sides.

Took it apart and put the table in the closet. The CQ used to take my Shotgun news when I was done.
Roommate had an M1 Carbine.

Have you considered using a Lee Hand Press? Very portable. Might make your boobies bigger. I use one when working up loads at the range. Pre measured powder charges in plastic vials.

I take it this thread supposes a very limited number of calibres. The containers I mentioned are filled with dies and bullets for seven different calibres, plus other bits needed to load them.

I made my own reloading kit for use in the Motorhome without all the extra weight. The box is about 3"X8"X4". It is for neck sizing only and will make reloading for a bolt action rifle great. This complete kit was made in about 1989. Every time I had a new barrel to make I would make a straight line seating die for that rifle. I have several dies in the set. The last group shot using my set was on the 204 Ruger and 5 shots at 100 yards was .312 inches.

Your set-up is too cute to be anything to do with reloading, Lester. It looks more like a portable meth lab or the contents of a proctologist's medical bag Wink
