Did I read (here) that these two powders are one-in-the-same? If so, would load data be real close? (no, I am not the type that starts out with the max loaded listed and then add more)

Over the years I have found the following generally true:

Faster
*169 H-414
170 N-150
171 S-361
172 AA-2700
*173 W-760
Slower

Steve, I've called Hodgdon a couple times on this subject, that it's just a lot# difference, and all they do is put the powder in different packages, made in the same factory, same with H110 and 296. Hodgdon# 1-800-622-4366. Jay

The 414 I have gotten over the years is
identical to 760 I have gotten at same time.
We are talking from 93 to 98 when we did a whole bunch of testing.Ed..

Different lots of the same powder can vary up to +/- 5%.

They are reportedly the same. If you always start low and work up loads, they are close enough, although they may not be identical in all lots.....
