The shotshell primer shortage way predates that unfortunate accident. One semi trailer of primers isn’t going to end the shortage. It’s sad, and I hope they figure out why it happened- it takes quite a bit to set off a primer unintentionally. | |||

Perhaps a careless forklift driver was the culprit, a fork speared into a pallet of primers would set the lot off. | |||

I agree with others: While tragic for the driver and his family, it's not going to be anything more than a drop in the primer supply bucket. There's more to the supply issue than meets the eye. Many factors are to blame for the shortages and ammo for a proxy war is one of the big ones IMHO. Zeke | |||
