Does the cannelure on the Hornady Interlock have any adverse reaction if you seat the bullet close to the lands and the cannelure is way ahead of the end of the neck? Or should the bullet be seated to the cannelure?

Gentlemen, I know on the Hornady 175 gr. Interlock 7mm bullet, the cannelure is at the proper location to seat the bullet to the maximum SAAMI length. This may be much less than your gun will chamber, but it works well for me. It may just be a coincidence that the cannelure on this bullet is in that location. I seat all Hornady bullets to the cannelure, adn even crimp most of them with a Lee Factory Crimper, and have never had any problems.
