Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward. Wisdom comes with age! Sometimes age comes alone..

You danged sissy boy! animal I shoot a lot of sissy loads anymore, and the more I shoot them the better I like them. 28 gr of 2400 and a 450 gr cast are a joy to shoot out of my 16.5 inch 458WM, my daughters and wife like them too.

Heck Rog, I shot a lot of interpolated blue dot loads in a 270 WSM, around 27 grains with 130 gr Ballistic Tips, and holy moly they were accurate as hell, and really fun to shoot--virtually no recoil to speak of.....Only shot at 100 yards with em, but fun for sho!

  • Old timers seems to have set in! Cool
Hey I love the "old" low pressure rounds. 6.5x55, 9.3x57.. love 'em. I really have a new respect for the .44-40. Coming out of a 24" 1892 lever gun it has the recoil of a .22 and does a great job at 120 yards.

I reload 135gr 6.5 GC cast lead at 2100fps, 170gr GC .323 at 2100fps and 9.3 285gr GC cast lead at 2300 fps. Fun and deadly loads.
