I want something that meters well in a progressive press.I have used WC846 for years ,but it is pretty dirty and MZ is not great.I tried CFE 223 and that is all right, but would like some one else's experience before I buy 8 pounds.I have one in 223 and another in 20 Practical.I use mainly 55 grain bullets in the 223 and 40 grain in the 20 P.Thanks ahead,Huntz

Only way to know if it's going to suit you is buy a pound first and try it. I have a big jug of TAC and it works great in my AR15 in 5.56 and in my 400 Whelen. However it does not cycle the bolt in my AR15 in 6x45 no matter what load I push it to. CFE223 is working well for my in 5.56 and 6x45. Both TAC and CFE223 seems to leave a bit of residue behind on the cases even though I've heard they burn clean. I've not tried Xterminator.

I use tac in most all of my loading for the 223/5.56. It meters well and does a job on targets, not all that dirty.

X-Terminator for my 50-grain varmint bullets, and TAC for 55 through 77-grain bullets in the AR-15. They both burn cleanly. You can actually use either one for 50 and 55-grain pills.
