What a shame. I use his cartridge dimensions page a lot. Hope it is not permanent.

"...I advise the gun. While this gives a moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprize, and independance to the mind. Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be the constant companion of your walks." it costs money to run a website, so maybe he got tired of paying for it when he was asking for donations to keep it running. Just sayin.

As Nordic2 mentioned, he was a pretty active member here for a while.

Steve did pass away.

A serious reloader that didn't want to see the web site go away, chased down the information needed and paid the necessary fee to bring the site back on line.

It will be on line until some time in December. Not sure what will happen when it expires in December.

I am truly saddened by the news of his passing. I once needed data for the 7mm RU and H-5010. Could only fine it on his pages. God bless

Sorry to hear of his passing. I enjoyed reading his experinces. He was a lot sharper than he got credit for. Using his data on my Son's 77 Ruger 6m/m it went from spraying shots to sub 1/2 ".

As I understand it, steps are being taken to insure the site stays up.

I hope it does because I was thinking of printing off all the pages for the rifles that I own currently and the ones I was thinking of buying/building in the future.

Sad loss. I think I've visited stevespages since I started reloading and using the internet. Not one of those end of the world types but if it's important print it out. We've been two and three weeks without power at a time before. Even though I try to keep ammo on hand, no electric would be a poor excuse to run out.

I'm so sorry for his family and friends. His was a wonderful presence in our shooting and reloading worlds.

I hope the site stays up. But I grieve his loss.
