hi all just got a tumbler and i have tons of brass to clean. how often should i recharge the media (corn cob). is there a color change, number of pieces polished or just when it seems to take longer to clean the brass. thanks lojack | ||

All I use is ground corn cob, and I change it when it gets dirty. The stuff is cheap enough. I add 2 or 3 capfuls of Dillon Rapid Polish to it. How long it lasts depends on how dirty your cases are, and how long you tumble them for. Bill T. | |||

It gets kinda of a green tinge to it....usually by then it pretty well used up. | |||

You will see that it takes longer to clean the brass when the corn cob get dirty. When you use it you will see the when it gets dirty. I have found that the treated media or to add treatment works the best Hcliff | |||
