tumbelling question
hi all

just got a tumbler and i have tons of brass to clean. how often should i recharge the media (corn cob). is there a color change, number of pieces polished or just when it seems to take longer to clean the brass.

thanks

All I use is ground corn cob, and I change it when it gets dirty. The stuff is cheap enough. I add 2 or 3 capfuls of Dillon Rapid Polish to it. How long it lasts depends on how dirty your cases are, and how long you tumble them for. Bill T.

It gets kinda of a green tinge to it....usually by then it pretty well used up.

You will see that it takes longer to clean the brass when the corn cob get dirty. When you use it you will see the when it gets dirty. I have found that the treated media or to add treatment works the best
