I just got several factory crimp dies in yesterday and was playing around with them, I watched the video from Lee and am still wondering how much crimp should I use?

I think I remember reading somewhere 25in pounds of pressure or something. There was some sort of torque thing the guys were selling that you could attach to the press.

I was thinking of using some sort of piece of metal to restrict how close the collet petals would get, but not sure if that will work.

Yes I know it was all in the lee video, but should I take them out and try them, or do you just know by looking at them? Any good pictures of examples?

Take a look at some factory ammo and closely mimic the crimp they use.
