I am starting to reload for my .41 mag. revolver and am wondering do I need to crimp my loads?
Up till now all my reloading has been for rifles and I only crimped for my lever guns that were tube fed.

I would say that you will have to crimp.

I reload for a 38 Spec and the points tend to "creep" out under recoil if they are not crimped. After the 3rd or 4th shot the bullets are so long that the cylinder can't turn.

Definitely crimp the shells for that Magnum revolver. A tight crimp in the cannelure, preferably as a separate operation after seating.

I crimp all loads meant for any type of repeater, whether the bullet has a cannelure or not, using a Lee factory crimp die. I don't want any surprises.

I crimp both rifle and handgun cartridges.

Regarding your .41 Mag I suggest you the heavy crimp.
