Try XMP5744. I'd start at 28- 35 grs and work up carefully, use a Fed215 primer and 500 gr flat base bullets. You don't need a filler. They work pretty well in my Shiloh Sharps.-Rob

Glad someone brought this topic up. I plan to ream my NEF to .45-120 soon, and was wondering what smokeless loads the rifle could handle, most likely more than my shoulder can. I'm guessing 70-80 grains of whatever smokless powder works good in it, but will start much lower.
