I do it after cleaning and full length resizing....that way the case mouths should be consistant and fit the trimmer mandrel or holder consistantly and you get a even cut on the whole batch.....good luck and good shooting-loading!

I first put the fired cases in my cleaner, then full length resize. In order to get rid of any lubricant that is left from the resizing, I dump them into the cleaner again. Then, I use the Lee case trimmer which is a great way to develop thumb muscles and also punches out any cleaner stuff in the primer hole. It also lets me know if there's a problem with the flash hole. Then I chamfer, then I'm ready to prime.
No, this is not a volume operation !
