I have always thought powder was an item that was less expensive to purchase locally because of the Hazmat fee and packaging requirements. Has something changed here?

You can save around 60 bucks on just one 8lb jug including the hazmat if you order it.

I buy most of mine locally at Bass Pro or one of the other local shops. Ordering Bulk is the way to go however.

got to tell you, if you have a Sportsmans Warehouse close by, their powder prices are very competetive. I just checked my last purchase (4# or 700x) against Powder Valley, it was the same price.

Ditto that on Sportsman's Warehouse. I just checked on an 8 lb of IMR 3031 and they quoted $108 plus tax. I guess not too bad since there's no hazmat fee. How much is that hazmat fee anyways?
