I have the chargemaster and after loading several thousand, I wouldn't be without one. I find it especially usefull with the smaller volume loading such as the 17 and the 20 cals where a tenth of a grain difference is much more noticeable than the bigger volume cals. Savage Vaporizer

I really liked my ChargeMarster 1500 combo until it broke down the other day after only 18 months from purchase ! I contacted the RCBS and they told me the unit was out of warranty but offered me a new one for 45 USD. So everything considered I’m glad for the discount and good service but from now on I will have an old style “manual” dispenser and scale as a back up ! Now I also have to buy a RCBS Uniflow or the Redding 3BR dispenser…..which do you recommend ?

I have not used the Uniflow, so I can't comment on that model. I have relied for many years (prior to acquiring the Chargemaster) on a Redding 3BR, and I think this is an excellent measure. No, it is not as luxurious as a Harrel's, but it is tons better than the Hornady measure I started out with. - mike ********************* The rifle is a noble weapon... I have the Lyman 1200 and love it. I do all my handloads single stage even 9mm and .45 acp. With handgun loads it works just right to give me time to seat a bullet as the next load is being dispensed. Some may think it is slow. Some complain about cleaning it out when done. I love mine. I hated using a uniflow with powders like IMR4064 or IMR4895 when loading hundreds of rounds at a time for my M1Garand. It never threw the same charge twice. Why throw a charge, put it on a scale and then trickle? The 1200 makes it no big deal. Push the button and seat a bullet. Molon Labe New account for Jacobite

RCBS Chargemaster @ $280 Lyman 1200 @ $250 Hornady Lock-N-Load @ $330 Smartreloade iSD @ $180 Not sure what features each has over the other to explain the variation in price. I only have familiarity with the RCBS.
