Does anybody have any experience with the 165gr XLC bullet. I am thinking about trying them to see if they will shoot in my rifle. I will be using them on deer and antelope. I may even use them on elk but I haven't decided for sure about that light of a bullet for elk. (I have always used 180 Grand Slams on elk) Anyway if anyone has any experience as to the accuracy of them I would appreciate any information. Also, does the Barnes reloading manual have up to date info regarding the XLC bullets?

Curly--try 'em--if your gun likes them you will have one heck of alot more bullet chasing those elk than your current grand slams.

I had no luck with the coated 165 bullts, but now have some non-coated ones coming. If and when you find the right load, they are GREAT.
