Curly.300 Win Mag and Barnes XLC 165gr
Does anybody have any experience with the 165gr XLC bullet. I am thinking about trying them to see if they will shoot in my rifle. I will be using them on deer and antelope. I may even use them on elk but I haven't decided for sure about that light of a bullet for elk. (I have always used 180 Grand Slams on elk)
Anyway if anyone has any experience as to the accuracy of them I would appreciate any information.
Also, does the Barnes reloading manual have up to date info regarding the XLC bullets?

<Don Krakenberger>Curly--try 'em--if your gun likes them you will have one heck of alot more bullet chasing those elk than your current grand slams.

Terry BlauwkampI had no luck with the coated 165 bullts, but now have some non-coated ones coming.
If and when you find the right load, they are GREAT.
