| I have an impact bullet puller and sometimes when I remove a bullet I notice that the ballistic tip is bent. Is it a bad idea to reuse bullets that have been removed with this type of puller or is it not a big deal? There is a piece of cushoning in the front of the chamber but I guess I need to put some more in before I use it again. I have like 40 SST bullets that I have already removed though and on some of them the tips are noticably out of wack. Suggestions? |

| I put an ear plug into the "chamber" of the puller. Presto...no more bullet nose damage. Jerry/AK |

| Wait wait... I know this one! Just switch to full metal jacket for everything! Yeah, that's the ticket. Then you have no tip damage!
Wow, sometimes I amaze myself. |

| I have an RCBS and it has what looks like a 20 gauge shotgun fiber wad in the bottom of the chamber. It looks to be about 3/8 inch thick. You might want to try stuffing one of these wads in the bottom of the puller. I've never harmed a bullet with this puller.
