Right now,I'm using corn cob pet bedding from Wal-Mart,but I'll prolly never use it again. It shines fine, but is a pain in the ass in small caliber brass. Not too big for 30cal+,but I tumbled some 223 and had to dig it out of almost every case.I'm sticking with reloading size grain from now on.

The walnut for me is the best. Rice, which I used raw and cooked than dried, for over a month comes apart and generates too much dust or powder if you will. roger
