Also I have some CBC stamped brass that was magtech ammo and I read that there are problems installing primers in this stuff and I can see that the pocket isnt chamfered and has a tight sharp shoulder primer pocket. This CBC also looks like it has a high base inside and weights 10 grs more than my Remington 45 colt, Is this CBC stuff undesirable?
In my experience Starline brass is some of the best there is. I have reloaded the CBC brass and don't really have any problem with it, seems just as good as any other.

i personally think Federal makes the best 45 Colt brass. but i don't think you can get any unless you buy factory ammo. having said that i mainly use Starline (i have a small stash of Federal)for repeated 30K psi loads and it lasts way longer than RP or WW brass does.

I've loaded some 45 LC into CBC brass and it worked as advertised. I'd think the biggest concern with 45 LC would be the older mushroom style (is that the correct terminology?) heads that aren't as strong as the standard brass web construction.
...I guess the correct term is "ballon head".
