I'm looking for reloading info for a 65 gr Sierra GK for a Mini 14. I can't really find anything in any of my reloading manuals for this size bullet. I would like to use Win 748 or one of the IMR's powders, perferably 3031 or 4064. Any info is appreciated!

thanks

You can google info on IMR and WW powders and data for various calibers.

The max for H4895 is 25.5gr with a 63gr bullets and the max for WW748 is 25.3gr. I'd reduce by about two grains to start.

4064 and 3031 would not be appropriate for .223 in a auto loading rifle. You'd be better off with 4895, 748 or AA2520, max 25gr) in my opinion. Generally, in auto loaders pick a bullet weight in the middle and a powder in the middle. Kudude

The 65 GameKing probably needs more twist than the Mini provides. 25gr of Varget is the brew.
