My brother is going to start reloading for his 1917 Colt 1911. He is going to use AA#7 and 230 gr lead round nose bullets. He is concerned that the start load of 9.9 gr may not cycle the action. Any advice is welcome. ___________ Cowboy Dan's a major player in the cowboy scene. -The Mouse | ||

Maybe the start load won't cycle the action. It's no big deal. Load a few up, try them and if they don't cycle the action increase the load a bit. | |||
