I've come across some lake city brass in 308 that has LR on the head stamp along with the usual LC and date. Is there anything special about these casings? **************************The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first. | ||

The "LR" means it was used in the M118 ammo, or long range. It is currently used by snipers. It should not have a crimped primer. | |||
