Lake City "LR" 308 brass

I've come across some lake city brass in 308 that has LR on the head stamp along with the usual LC and date. Is there anything special about these casings?

The "LR" means it was used in the M118 ammo, or long range. It is currently used by snipers. It should not have a crimped primer.
