Hello Folks,
Have 4 boxes of BELL unformed cases that I'm trying to get formed. Anyone have any insite to accomplish this? Digging through the web I haven't found any clear paths to forming them.
Appreciate any insite and thanks in advance.

If you have 425 WR reloading dies, the resizing die should resize the brass. Just use a good lube like CORBIN Swage Lube. Pull the decapper first. Check the length of the brass, you might have to trim the brass first.

I would first anneal the case necks. I had cases split when I didn't anneal them.

Thanks for the reply and advice Jim. Read from a few different sites that guys are using a #3 RCBS case holder and that sure isn't working for me. Not sure why there would be a difference in the ability of a #3 to work for some...

I have some BELL 425 cases and some work with the #3 holder, some don't. I also had problems with some of them not feeding from the magazine reliably. My WR has the magazine feed clips BTW. I think the problem is that mine were formed from 450 NE cases with the rebated rim machine cut. This resulted in some rims being slightly out of round and/or not perfectly concentric to the body of the case. In most cases I can get them to cooperate by rotating the case 90 or 180 degrees. I've now solved the problem by getting a spare bolt, having the face opened to fit 375 RUM and forming the 425 from that case. Works well, feeds great and when I asked WR (Trigger in Birmingham) about it he said he liked the idea and they'd call it the 425 WR Improved.

i prefer imperial sizing wax, NEXT TO NONE on your fingers... dip ONE finger, just touch it, wipe your fingers together, then wipe off, before touching cases...

gas dents in the shoulders ANNOY THE CR!P out of me, on any brass, much less expensive brass

I also vote for Imperial wax..and it last forever..An original 425 WR is the ultimate DG caliber and rifle..

I had a .458 conversion from a WR =425 and it fed like poop thru a goose, wonderful gun and the magazine clips are indeed a brilliant work of art that simply works..It was a gift to me as the owner couldn't make it work, so he gave it to me..I fixed it and hunted with it and sent it back to him..It was just so so nice.

Your problem may be that your working with a rebated case and that's always a pain in the ka zoo for some folks it seems..Some 425s are out there without the rebated case, Ive run across a couple, walk away..and your 425 WR has the magazine clips in front of the rear actions ring and if not, walk away from it..its built wrong or at least out of specs.
