| If your goal is just to make coyotes dead( an admirable goal ) shoot witchever the rifle likes best they will both kill em graveyard dead! If you'd like to have a little hair left and maybe a nice tanned hide to hang in your gun room, or especially if you'd like to sell em they both stink! They'll tear a coyote half into. For poppin chucks and such in a dramatic fashion they are both Great! My personal favorite is the V Max's, shoot a lot of em in a lot of guns. TNT's haven't been as accurate for me but their price is right. I like Hornadys and Sierras for the same reason. One cation with a .25-06, don't get carried away in heavy varmint situations ( like a pararie dog town ) and melt it, they generate a lot of heat and it's easy to cook a good rifle. | Have never used TNT but I've used 6.5mm V-max on paper to achieve 3/4 MOA results. Not exactly .257 but shows they can be accurate. TNT's are designed to explode on varmint so it's useful when trying to detonate a coyote. TNT's are thin jacketed so they can't be pushed too fast, a typical situation for large capacity/small bore cartridge like 25-06.

| Boileroom; I've used both in my 25/06 and they worked well but the V-max to me is the better choice and more accurate at longer ranges, at 100 yards you won't see a real big difference in accuracy but farther out the V-max out performs the TNT. ![[Wink]](images/icons/wink.gif) |

| boileroom, A V-Max load I like is 58.0 grains of H4831sc and a CCI-250 primer behind the 75 VMAX. I'm getting .2-.3's out of my 2506 with that one. The rifle is listed in the classifieds here under the post "custom 25-06 all the bells and whistles". GHD |

| I ordered a box of V-Max yesterday. I asked about the TNT and my supplier has to special order them from Alberta so I passed. GHD Thanks for the pet load. I'll have to try that. ![[Big Grin]](images/icons/grin.gif) |

| I haven't shot the TNTs in my .25-06 but I've shot Sierra 75 gr HP and 75 gr V-max and I prefer the V-max for accuracy and expansion. Haven't put any into a yote but they make a huge mess out of a PD at any range. |

| My wife and I use both and they both work extremely well. I'd tell you to use the one that your rifle(s) like best.

| I don't see any reason to look any farther. Today I tried my first V-max loads. I started with working up to the listed max of IMR4350 and went with their col. Most groups were moa or less from my out of the box A-bolt. With some tinkering I think I'll do really well. I'm going to give RL15 a try also. I don't have any H4831 but I still wan't to give that a try. ![[Big Grin]](images/icons/grin.gif) |
