^^^^^^^^^^^This^^^^^^^^^

I have iSNIPE, Ballistic and Winchester's Ballistic Calculator on my phone.

Why so many apps? Because they're dirt cheap or free. And they amuse me.

But I use JBM much more because I like to get my ballistics solutions worked out and printed before I shoot.

I have tried three or four others but JBM has been as close or closer to the real world conditions as any of them and it's dead simple to use.

JBM is the best.

The rest look like a joke compared to it!

Especially the apps on the phone!

There is one advertised for $90 !!

I shoot my rifle at any and all distances to verify and collect the dope chart info.
I really enjoy the shooting and learning from real world ballistics.
Those ballistics programs are great, but I have found some aren't very accurate.
Besides, as I said, the shooting is what makes it fun and you can't argue with the factual data from the place that really matters.

I've found that hands on is the best. All this new technology tends to rob us of our own thought processes. Of course I am a dinosauer. That being said,I do use a chronograph, but my calculater has really ruined my math.

They are not perfect to many variables but they are a good place to start.

JBM is great but on the phone I love Ballistic Advanced Edition. Easy to use in the field and even calculates spin drift accurately.
