in thinking to built an stw vith a 27 ins lilja barrels is there anny differens vith 9,10.or 11 twist in pressure and
velocity. bullet i vant to use is 140-160gr.

1:9.5" will do great for the weights you mentioned. Actually works great from 120-175 gr.

I had one built with a 9.5 twist and couldnt get bullets under 160 to group worth a damn. it loved 160 grain accubonds. if i were to do it again shooting the bullet weights mentioned, i would go with a 1in10 and have the length finished at 28 inches. good luck!

I have two 7mmstw's with - in 10".Both deliver 1/2" groups with 140gr bullets with 3500fps muzzle velocity.I have never tried 160's.The barrels are a #3 schneider and a #4 kreiger both 26".
