From what I know, a suppressor is a Clas 3 device and as such, cannot be owned in California. Truth be told, almost nothing that goes bang can be owned in California. You see, the politicians there don't want the citizens to put holes in the criminals because the criminals consistently vote Democrat.

AHAHAHHAHAHAAAHAH F@*K CALIFORNIA! I was born in the wrong state! Steak Knives and Baseball bats are now illegal because people kill people with these "weapons"
Jim, Something can be federally legal but state criminal and vice versa. Under the California Penal Code
Chapter 5 Firarm Devices
Article 2, Unlawful Possession of Firearm Silencers
12520. Possession; offense; punishment.
"Any person, firm, or corpration who within this state possesses a silencer is guilty of a felony and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison or by a fine not to exceed ten thouand dollars ($10,000) or by both."

Quote: Something is fishy here. I know I have talked to C3 and C7 dealers online, in California, who have Suppressors and Machine guns.
The C3 and C7 licences are federal. Now does the state talk to the feds on such matters? Do the state and feds spend a lot of time talking to themselves? Obviously, enforcement is not a major bugetary priority!
Quote: BTW, IT would be a pain in the A$$ to be a get a C3 or C7 and get just one suppressor in Cal.
Uh-huh!
