Anyone seeing any let up in the shortage of reloading supplies or ammo? I am still having a hard time finding anything that I use regularly.

I think that's just it, dogcat.

The popular, good ole standby's are unavailable due to their popularity. While looking over Graf's website, I noticed a lot of newer powders are in great supply. People have their pet loads and the IMR's and Hogdgons are tough to find.

You may want to try developing a load with a newer powder that is in plentiful supply because it hasn't gained popularity yet.

I have laid in supplies of IMR-4064 and ACC-4350, they fit almost every rifle I shoot.

Pistol powder is 2400 and any shot gun powder close to unique.

I like 2400 over H-110 because I can easily make a 2/3rds power load with 2400 while H-110 requires max loadings. Also 2400 is easily set of with regular primers or mag primers.

Think versatility when stock pilling components in times like these.

Local shops have any powder I want. All the IMR and Reloader powders.

Bullets are out there, but not online. And in the shops, the prices are more than I want to pay.

Back orders and patience is the key to reloading right now. I would imagine if you had placed back orders when you first had trouble finding your usual stuff, you wouldn't be worrying about it now. Wink

I did the same thing. During this powder shortage, I "discovered" Ramshot powder. I can load a heck of a lot of different cartridges with Big Game and Hunter. I still need a few others like H1000 for my double and Reloder 15 for the .500 Jeffery but now, I have plenty of powder to get buy. Ramshot is good stuff

Very true. While components are in shrot supply, you can find enough to keep reloading. Time to try new powders if your old stanby is B.O. Place your back orders, place them large enough so you don't need anything for 12m & wait.

Seeing some easing here in eastern Iowa. A local shot acutally had primers in all flavors Thursday!

No bullets for the .454 yet, but I have some on back order that should be getting here soon.
