I have never neck size before. I have a set of rcbs for a 25/06. The set is full length and came witout a neck size die. Can I use any other brand neck size die that I can get for a good price or does it have to be a rcbs brand, and if I use a different brand will it still work with the rcbs seat die that came with my full length set? Hows that for a question.
You can use anyones neck sizer and still use yur rcbs seater. Or simply back your FL sizer off so that it doesn't bump the shoulder and neck size the majority of the neck. I partially neck size just about every rifle I shoot.
(One of these days I'm going to remember I have no spell check on here.
As usual just my $.02 Paul K

Neither your rifle nor press nor seater will care what mix of dies you use but why do it now? Neck sizing rarely - if ever - makes any meaningful difference in accuracy or case life for factory rifles, especially so for newish reloaders.

The RCBS Neck Die is more or less the same price than the Full Set, but Redding makes an equally good Neck Die and it sells for +-60% of the price of the RCBS.
