I have a 222 full length die i would like to hone out the neck -to the point of having appox .002 neck tension I would not need the expander button Wilson dies does this but was wondering if anyone has done it in Canada thanks Sydney | ||

Dennis Olson in Plains, Mt. can do that..Last one he did for me was $35.00 and he literally rechamber the die set for a wildcat. He softens the die and rechambers it and hardens it as I recall.. I'd opt for a Redding S-Type neck of FL sizer and change bushings accordingly. Maybe that's the easy way out...but that's what I'd do (and what I do for 90% of the rifle cartridges for which I reload). Zeke | |||

I have opened the neck of RCBS 223 Fl & a neck die with emery paper on a wood dowel. The emery paper needs to be the length of the neck only and you must measure so its in the correct location before starting the drill. Go slow and size fired brass to take a measurement. | |||
