Modifying a full length die
I have a 222 full length die i would like to hone out
the neck -to the point of having appox .002 neck tension
I would not need the expander button
Wilson dies does this but was wondering if anyone has
done it in Canada
thanks Sydney

Dennis Olson in Plains, Mt. can do that..Last one he did for me was $35.00 and he literally rechamber the die set for a wildcat. He softens the die and rechambers it and hardens it as I recall..

That's good to know in this day + time of RCBS not selling direct anymore for those of us who 'play' with wildcats.

Never mistake motion for action.

I'd opt for a Redding S-Type neck of FL sizer and change bushings accordingly.
Maybe that's the easy way out...but that's what I'd do (and what I do for 90% of the rifle cartridges for which I reload).

I have opened the neck of RCBS 223 Fl & a neck die with emery paper on a wood dowel. The emery paper needs to be the length of the neck only and you must measure so its in the correct location before starting the drill.

Go slow and size fired brass to take a measurement.

Hi 243winxd a couple of questions
How long did it take
What grit did you use
Any more info would be appreciated
Thanks Sydney
