Need some help with a good load for the 257 Roberts, not the improved, with 100 to 117 gr bullets. Any suggestions? Jim

I have had better luck with IMR 4064 than IMR 4350 in the regular Roberts, I'm still waiting to play with my Ackley Roberts so don't know it as well.

If you are looking for data for 117 gr. why not go to the 120 NP? The following is a wonderful load and if you really look at the ballistics the 25-06 doesn't beat it by that much. 120gr. NP 48gr. RL-22 R-P cases Fed 210M primers 2.82in. OAL This load gives a chronographed 2850fps in 22in. barrel and MOA accuracy. I've shot this load a lot over the last ten years and am still using the original cases with no primer pocket stretching. What more could you want from a zero recoiling rifle???
