For 200's I liked: RL-7 From 44.0 grains to 51.0 grains Remington 9-1/2 Primer For 250's I liked: IMR-4320 From 45.0 grains to 57.0 grains Remington 9-1/2 Primer | |||

Hey T/C Nut, For 200gr bullets, I use good old IMR-4064. Can't help you with the 250gr as I've never needed it for Deer, Hogs and Black Bear. If I ever run out of IMR-4064, I intend to try Varget. H4895 works well for me too. I can also recommend "not using" Double Base powders if your barrel is relatively short, because the Fireball can blind you at the Twilight periods of the day. I'm specifically talking about BL-C2 and WW-748, but see no reason that other Double Base powders wouldn't do the same thing. | |||

Try 56 grs. H4895 with a 225gr Nosler. I've had good results with my Remington. | |||
