Using a 200 or 250 grain Hornady also has anyone tried RE-15 or imr-4064.

Hey T/C Nut, For 200gr bullets, I use good old IMR-4064. Can't help you with the 250gr as I've never needed it for Deer, Hogs and Black Bear. If I ever run out of IMR-4064, I intend to try Varget.

H4895 works well for me too.

I can also recommend "not using" Double Base powders if your barrel is relatively short, because the Fireball can blind you at the Twilight periods of the day. I'm specifically talking about BL-C2 and WW-748, but see no reason that other Double Base powders wouldn't do the same thing.

Try 56 grs. H4895 with a 225gr Nosler. I've had good results with my Remington. thumb
