Yeah. Definitely a job for the CB Long, if I've ever seen one. Now if only I can get that little old lady on East 2nd Street to "adopt" one of those....

120 - you ever seen "Second-Hand Lions"?

Great movie. At one part these two old guys order a "retired" lion from the zoo or something for a private hunt on their farm.

Thing ended up living in the corn-field and attacking insurance agents or something.

I doubt it. There are some things animals just won't eat.

I've heard with lawyers it's a professional courtesy.

"Problem cheetah" you say Eric?? Hmmm looks like you may have a little crat whackin blood in you after all! LOL clap

Yea I've took some shots at ferocious lions around my parts ( lawn lions that is ). Damn things like to walk on my pickup too much!
Have glimpsed a few porch puma's in these parts but recently added them to the endangered species list if you catch my drift?

Danno I bet one of those big kitties would do some nice catrobatics!! Eeker

Dragon Lady how long you recon one of them big lions would last on the buffet line??

I don't often admit that a CB is less than enough medicine for anything on the planet Ben, but perhaps in this case I could grab Ravage. Or maybe even Special, though that is definately overkill. I do have some FMJ rounds for my 94/22M though that will start a firestorm over in the Africa Forum. All ya gotta do is crack the brainpan and it's a done deal. Wink She do look like she is really pissed though...

Catrobatics...I'm recalling PT's post about the electrified deer hound in "Cat trap"...yeah, a brain shot lion would likely clear the brush off a 1/4 acre lot pretty quick. beer

Petted a tyger once, live one at that. Wishin' I could trust the damn thing for a morning walk in the neighborhood, trust as in, "eat the yappin' dogs and not me". Way nifty animals but they do have an odor to go with their attitude. Wicked right hook too. Eeker

Cheetahs can be a little odd. I met one once that had a habit of running thru sliding glass doors to catch squirrels. Never paid any heed to the glass all over the place, never learned to open the door first either. Exiled to the outdoors after three such events it became fond of ripping off ladies skirts and running around in its enclosure having a damn fine time with the spoils of conquest. Could learn to like that crat too...in the right place and circumstance.

Sound like my friend's GSP! Jumped a closed window to get a crat. Eeker

By the way, I have not seen Snap for a long time? Confused

IIRC lawndart mentioned that he was missing/lost/was robbed of a GSP some time ago... thumbdown

Perhaps it was Snap using his computer behind his back!?!?

That's because they don't know if they should behave as dogs, or as crats. Their paws are actually dog paws, and they can't retract their claws.

Taking a cheetah back to the pen from a morning walk:

Another animal there that didn't know what it was. She's been raised indoors, and basically thought she was human.

Warthog tastes good:

Thanks for the pics Erik.
But you can keep those big cats. Eeker
Now the pic of the Warthog,I'm used to seeing similar animals.
In fact, at first glance, I thought that was my Brudder-In-Law soaking up some sunshine. Smiler
But then I felt bad for thinking about the Hawg in this fashion.

Do those guys actually take those cheetahs for walks? If one would take to running, you would need a motorcycle to keep up.

Roller skates. Gives the cheetah more excercise that way.

Erik, When I get a chance I'm going to read the rest of your log. I read the intro and looked at some pictures, and that seems fascinating.

BTW, to whomever asked, I've watched Second Hand Lions several times. One of the better movies of our age, if you ask me.
