I may have to get a cat. The shame is almost more that I can bear but believe me when I say that dire curcumstances beyond my controll have brought me to this juncture. My dog Grizz dissapeared a few weeks ago. He was known to kill cats but unbeknownst to me he also defended the castle from the onslaught of field mice that sometimes plague us country dwellers. This became obvious shortly after his dissapearance. Perhaps I will be saved from the ignomy of fratrenizing with crats. No mouse sign in 24 hours. 8-9 in the traps plus the victims of the poison packs seems to have repelled the invasion.
