I'm looking for some ideas for a chamois mount, anyone have one?
Maybe a pedestal, or a open mouth?
thanks Lorenzo

Lorenzo,
Do a search on www.taxidermy.net and ask your question on the Wanted Forum. You should get some pics that way. Are you wanting it mounted at home or abroad? David

I have one as a full mount jumping off a rock. It didn't start out this way ... it was a full rock face with a Tahr and a Chamois, but we had to split up the two and make a new base as the full rock face habitat wouldn't work. Way too big.

Photo of taxidermy never truly capture the form and these are a bit disappointing, it looks more realistic in 3D. Oh well, you get the idea.

Didn't want to hijack I will save that Stag for another post.

Oh, and in the interest of full disclosure, that Whitetail is the only animal in my trophy room that I did not shoot ... I just wish I did.

The Deer and the saddle belong to a good friend of mine. He is my adopted Uncle. (I adopted him)

Well, looks like I did hijack the thread after all.

Sorry!

You're right. Sorry about the hijack.

I haven't hunted NZ yet but I have seriously considered it a number of times. The little "sham-waa" is a neat animal as are the tahr and stag.
