Trophy House
I got to go visit my friend David Guitar and his wife Mitzi in Brownwood, Texas this past weekend.

I talked David into letting me post some pictures of some of his trophies.
Click on the link below and it should take you to a slide show I made.

Hope you enjoy!

Very nice, indeed! I love the overall ambiance, I'm sure now though that I'd never do an elephant tusk like that. Nor hang my baseball cap on a tusk!! My wife and kids use my trophies for hanging Christmas ornaments all the time, much to my dismay!

The table is coverd in heavy tin. The tin is just nail to and folded around the top of the table. The table belonged to the original owners who, I think, told that David and Mitzi they could keep it instead of having to move it! Big Grin

Thanks for posting those. It makes saving for Africa a wee bit more important.

I'm going to collect some driftwood and do a bedframe just like that for my 13-year old. I guess she'll hate me after that!

Well Frans, once the water goes down, there should be lots to pick from.

I love the Buffalo skull over fireplace. I didn't know a skull mount could look so good.
