In my old house, this second level room was unused attic space with an unusual shape and low knee-walls. It wasn't suitable for much else so she didn't object too much 30 years ago, and now I'm firmly established in there.
Great use of space and great tour. Feels like I've been in there!

Nice use of limited space. I like it. One cold winter's day in Maine, Dad collected a big hornet's nest like yours. We hung it up high in our summer place on the lake. The spring thaw came and so did the hornets. Bzzzzzzz!

Just a GREAT personal place and hideaway .. in my younger wild days I rode one of the two wheel monsters until a wise man told me to not ride anything that would not stand up by it's self...you should be and I am sure you are proud of your room....also I use to think I owned a lot of guns....well done.....

Looking through your books brought back memories for me. I noted a copy of "The Complete Book of Hunting." That was the first book that I contributed to as a writer. It was published by a Swedish publisher, edited by Robert Elman, and published in several different languages and several different countries. I did most of the European stuff in the book -- animals, hunting methods, and firearms. I did my input in about 1980 or thereabouts.
You have a very attractive setup.

I like your man cave. Looks very good especially the nice wood cabinets and shelves.
I have a couple of hornets nests but none that size. Once in gunsmith school a classmate from Canada who worked for the forest service found out I wanted one since we had none in Texas where I lived. One day a strange box arrived in the mail and upon opening it I discovered a hornets nest from my friend. Aren't some people great !
